We really haven’t been any where in the longest time so it felt so good to get away for a few days. Here is the adventure we had 🙂
We obviously went skiing with the girls, but this was the first time we actually went skiing WITH them and not just for them. In the past we have had to carry them down the hill and hold onto them the entire time. This time they went down the hill all by themselves, Maren even wanted to go alone on the lift…that didn’t happen.
The girls crashed and burned after a few hours of skiing so we went and ate an $8.00 hamburger 🙂 and then we went back and let the girls swim.
So fun between the ages 3-12! I don’t look forward to the day they are all around 16 years old! I’ll just have to bring a bat 🙂
Yes Lauren was there. I always brought my camera out when she was taking her nap so I decided to go on a walk with her and get some cute pictures of her. We were outside for at least an hour waiting for Jon and the girls to come back from skiing and she just loved the sound that the snow made when she stepped on it, so she marched around Solitude the whole time. I have to agree with her though…that sound is pretty cool.
We got to roast marshmallows after a long day of skiing with all the kids, it was an awesome way to end the ski day.
This is how it was around the cabin for the full 3 days. Little kids with dirty faces and crazy hair running all over the place. Maren lost her front tooth while brushing her teeth when we were up there so I had to get a picture of her with her cousin because she’s missing her front teeth too. It was a lot of fun and my kids already can’t wait to go on our next ski trip next year. I have to admit I’ll be a little sad when the snow melts, we’ve had a lot of fun playing in it this year.
